    Deleting with Arduino and information...anyone?

Hi Jim W, I live in Maine but I've retained my Florida registration and plates because someday, I'll be back there at our winter residence; (it's still wiped out from Hurricane Michael). Either state does not deal too much in the emissions systems. My plan is to attempt to clean the DPF and...

    Deleting with Arduino and information...anyone?

Hello sag2, Thanks for replying. I meant the DPF filter and NOT the SCR. Hello Jim W, I've heard of EFILive and also heard that there are various versions, ones that just tune and ones that also allow bypass of the emissions system; the latter being banned in the US. lpennock, Yes, So, I am...

    Deleting with Arduino and information...anyone?

Hello all, I've been out of touch with everything 4th Gen Ram as mine was down with a bad dual-disk clutch. I've since gotten the repairs paid for and and once again, bring my 2014 Ram back to life. A lot still has to be done. Among the tasks is the DEF delete I'd like to perform on it. I know...

Anyone have a spare G56 along the Eastern Seaboard?

I'm under a load of 4 cars delivering in Buffalo, NY and Cincinnati with my route taking me towards GA and the FL panhandle. From there, I am headed back to Maine but I just lost 6th gear. Anyone know who may have a G56 for a '14? Just asking.

Abnormally High levels of Aluminum and Potassium in oil

No radiator cap on the '14s, true. I'm awaiting the next sample. Since I last was here on the forum, lost my water pump last Sunday at 212,000 miles; changed it out on the road in Evansdale, Iowa and switched out the serpentine belt at the same time.

    Exhaust manifold woes...

Good morning, Newsa! Hey, thanks for the reminder. I'm enroute to MT to deliver 4 cars finaling in Butte I think I'll call tomorrow to see if I can get into a place there (in Butte). It was mentioned that I must go to an FCA-approved location - and not just any Ram dealer) for that flash, is...

Abnormally High levels of Aluminum and Potassium in oil

I've received my oil sample analysis from ALS Tribiology, a service I've been using for the entire life of my truck, with result that includes abnormally high levels of aluminum and potassium in my oil at 11 ppm during my previous oil sample to 25 ppm and 22 ppm to 51 ppm respectively. At the...

    Exhaust manifold woes...

My mechanic. Or should I say, the son of a close friend of my father-in-law...really! He said they - those bolts in the 6.7 Cummins exhaust manifold-to-head have been prone to failing at the rear of the head/manifold and the rear-most bolts are the most difficult to get to, always seem to...

    Exhaust manifold woes...

Hello again all, Has anyone attempted the exhaust manifold gasket replacement on our 6.7s? I heard that they have weak manifold-to-head bolts and that there is a fix by upgrading those bolts. I also heard it us a bear of a job to do and one shop told me it is at least 15 hours labor that could...

regen shuts off when applying - and returns - when releasing, brakes, really!

Good morning TC Diesel and all the readers, I'm actually loading my last car in Buffalo, NY for Montana and should be coming through Minnesota during the weekend. This is the first time I have heard about this flash. My truck has been to the Ram dealer in Ellsworth, Maine at least as recent as...
