The "Performance" edition of the 94R as they don't make an "Extreme" 94R. They need too... It was a substitution in the supply chain shortage days for the X2.
We are already setting records with 103F temps this year.
Watching the charging voltage on my 2018 Vs. the specs for that... They...
The standard for battery life here in the Phoenix Heat is making it two years. (Some vehicles don't even make much over 1 year.) My last Odyssey set in my 2018 didn't make it two years before a no start (no jumpbox x2 start) dead at 1 year 8 months.
Figure a record breaking number of days in a...
A 7th (or 9th for V8's) also allows a higher % of FAME BioDiesel to be run without contaminating the engine oil. #2 diesel will evaporate back out of the engine oil. The BioDiesel component will not. In cylinder post injection using say B99 with it's poorer evaporation on the exhaust stroke is a...
Have him pop the hood on a CUCV or Military Hummer and look at the wording on the valve cover's emissions sticker to the effect of: Emissions Exempt due to NATO Treaty. They weren't "deleted" rather they left the factory built to different Military Contract Specifications possibility lacking...
After checking the drain isn't clogged: check the evaporator drain with a sniffer as refrigerant is heavier than air and will tend to show up there from a slow evaporator leak. Pickup doors closed, windows up in a garage to prevent wind from blowing away the leak evidence.
X2. The heater core is likely the source. The heater core doesn't have a drain pan.
The evaporator generates condensate, water, that goes out the evaporator drain from the drain pan under it. Any oil from an A/C evaporator leak also goes out the drain. The drain pan is big Vs. oil capacity of...
The PO of my 2003 did the same thing to me: the head looked like this "craters on the moon" one when we pulled it looking for an engine knock. 2003 HO's were known to drop valve seats. Cummins was amazed the engine ran. Turns out after a used head it still knocked. After an engine rebuild it...
If a bump in the road brings it to life… aside of plugs it would have a cracked solder joint in the radio itself. Reconditioned replacement radio or upgrade it.
 At least one OEM, Optima Batteries, recommends in writing to replace them in pairs.

This is why chargers don't charge "Low Voltage." Video of a shorted cell in this Optima, their favorite way to die when overdischarged now. Before Optima's didn't care about overdischarge so much as I used one for a CB power source in the early 1990's and charged it only when the CB died. I used...
Um, No. Put two of the jump packs on my 2018 when it had a bad battery and a murdered discharged battery. Even sitting for time and trying it wouldn't even crank even bypassing the grid heater. You are better off with good heavy jumper cables because that's what it took to get it started so we...
I run AGM's in this heat for three reasons:
1) Less chance of acid ruining the battery cables.
2) Faster charging for short trips (or limited generator time in the RV.)
3) Generally higher CCA's for longer. After the glow plugs (or grid heater) hits em they have enough to spin the engine fast...
