    Archived hates cold weather

Does it get to 180 degrees during the summer? I had troubles with my 92 getting to temp and had replaced the thermostat twice with no luck. But I then put in a Cummins thermostat and the temp rises nicely and the truck runs great. Could be that you also need a good dose of injector cleaner...

    Archived warm truck won't start

Good point. I'm new to this sort of thing. 92, 250, 4wd, extended cab. I did havesome trouble with the truck heating up(see thread in 1st gen), but since putting in a Cummins thermostat it heats up nicely. No added pump, but I did put in a vortex horsepower booster(spins the incoming air).

    Archived Truck Won't Warm Up

I've replace my thermostat twice(although not with a cummins one) and it does not seem to make a...

I'll check on the sending unit and guage. I've also been getting an excessive amount of smoke(esp at start-up), loss of power and loss of...

    engine not heating up

It's not the thermostat, I checked and replaced that, twice, along with flushing the whole system. Two months ago the truck over heated and blew the transmission/radiator heat exchanger. Upon replacing the transmission, the garage recommended that I put in a seperate, smaller radiator just for...
