Truck hates cold weather
My 2500, 02 with automatic runs great in 80 deg. In morning it takes 1/4 mile to warm up at 10 mph then (click) it takes off and runs fine. winters back and its blue smoke and lugging. last winter I put card board in front of left side of radiator, and it runs better. Its like a temperature sencer is swithing on an off. 3 shops tell me its the injector pump. I say its an electric problem, When it like (clicks) on it race's up to 90 fast. Yesterday ran great in Texas, coming north it go worse. today I smoked for 100 mile on I 40 IN 30 degrees.
Going south with a 7000 lb trailer the trans temp. never reached 100 deg even climing Mt. Eagle.
Or were is a good cheap pump etween Nashville Tn and Memphis
