So my parts guy ran my serial number and came up with the same, no lick crossing or finding a cummins part number for the outlet. We do have one of thise cummins ones in stock, but my cost is still over $450 not knowing if it will even work for sure. My only real fear is if it will communicate...
So who has braved purchasing aftermarket Nox sensors, and what were the results? Any company's that are good, or to avoid? Also, price and purchased from, if your comfortable with that. And go... Thanks!
Curious about this. I beleive i need to replace my outlet NOx sensor, and was hoping to find a standard looking cummins part number on the back of it, but instead found OEM Ram/chrysler part numbers. Going to have my parts guy see if he can cross them or if maybe one is an actual cummins part #...
Well that makes me feel better. I just dont have experience on the automotive side, and they are a much smaller filter than i am used to dealing with, thus i dont really have a good idea of what life expectancy is. Thank you for your input!
I would highly NOT recommend that process, and would certainly never do that myself. Honestly among other things, it would likely amount to a waste of time as i doubt it would remove much ash in the first place. There is special equipment and processes for cleaning a DPF. I may happen to have...

I have a 2013 2500 with 172,xxx on the clock. I have owned it for 4.5 years. I got the "exhaust system regen in process, filter 100% full" message on my 26 mile, mostly highway, drive to work today, for the FIRST TIME since i have owned the truck. It went thru to 70% and then completed within...
Thank you for all the info... mine is also a 2013, only 2500 series. Would be interested in some more detailed info on the company you sent to for repairs, as well as the results
So ... update. I had my truck at the dealer back in October for a recall, and while there had them manually do the radio update per the service bulletin, since they said they could cover it even though my warranty is well gone. I should note, it was supposed to take maybe 2 hours per the...
Well that's discouraging. Mine has intermittent "vehicle phone failure, see dealer" messages, and some times the clock stops updating and stays on one time. Supposedly things this OTA update should fix. Have not received a letter about it yet much less the update. Fingers crossed I guess.
