Thanks for all the responses. The truck is all stock, 3500 dialysis, aisin transmission and 4:10 gears. I know it is not tire/wheel vibration. I work at a wheel repair shop on the weekends and the wheels are true without bends or runout and the vibration hasn’t changed with different tires or...
So its been quite a few years since I have posted but I have kept the truck completely stock and haven't really had any issue with it over 63,000 miles doing truck stuff...except one. Since new, I have had the dreaded driveline vibration. It feels like a very out of balance tire except that it...
I had 19.5's on my 06 and loved them. Empty ride was a touch harsher than stock but nothing that even the wife noticed unless it was a bad set of RR tracks. They greatly increased the ride quality when loaded. No squishy feeling out back and much more stability. Comparing that to my 13 DRW, it...
I know this is a different motor but I had the same exact thing happen on my 3.0 VW diesel last week. Started fine when cold, when warm would only crank, no fire. Let it cool down again, started just fine. Put a good scanner on the car, read some codes, looked at some real time data. Turned out...
I pulled a 43 foot 5er with my 4th gen. No issues whatsoever. No flipped axles, no blocks, no nothing. Once hooked up with proper bed box clearance, the pin weight leveled everything on its own. Take the hour and a half drive and hook it up then make your decision.
On my 2006 Mega 3500 SRW, I added air bags, 19.5 Rickson wheel/tire combo and a Smarty set on the tow setting. I owned a 43 foot 5th wheel which weighed in at about 18,000 pounds. Not sure of the pin weight but it wasn't light. We carried 6 people in the truck as well. I always felt perfectly...
I always kept mine at 80psi loaded or not. I never had an issue. I had 16 inch tires with three axles. No science behind what I did but I can't see 20psi lower tires being that significant in terms of a softer ride inside the fifth wheel.

I'm not a full timer but have had multiple different setups from tent/pop up/trailer/fifth wheel/motor home. Don't count out the motor home option yet. There are many high quality used units out there for a good price. As for the towing aspect, you are already towing where ever you go...
My fifth wheel was that size and weight. I went with 4.10's and it towed great through everything. I do enough lighter towing or empty driving that I wish I had gone with the 3.73's. And I "only" have 850 torque. The new is rumored to be 900 so 3.73 would perform even better. If you want the...
Always after the slab. You will never get it correct before. Drill all the way through the concrete and set the supplied bolts the recommended depth and tighten.
6" of 3000 psi concrete if I remember correctly. If you cruise the website for a few hours (I did. Got way more info then I knew existed) they will give you the requirements. I had 6" 4000 psi fiber reinforced floor which was more than enough.

This is what I have in my shop. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. It may not be the same quality as a rotary or bendpak but the steel is strong and the price is right. I have used mine almost every day for a year now and zero issues. It lifts my...
