Has any body had a problem galling on the area that contacts the rails. I bought this hitch used and pulled a trailer back from Oregon with it. It performed great with no problems. When I took it apart to get it out of the truck I noticed that the area that sits on the rails was galled. I lubed...

I don't know if the offset is exactly like the stock muffler but I am sure it is a lot easier to align then an inline muffler like the Donaldson. You would also need a 3. 5 to 4 inch adapter and some band clamps. I just had a shop put mine in so I would not have to worry about leaks or dealing...

1200 if your pyrometer sender is pre turbo. If it is mounted downstream of the turbo then 900 is max.

The part number is 8991. This was carried by my local muffler shop. I have not had much luck trying to find info about it on the internet so maybe you could call your local shop and they might know about it.

I didn't get to drive the truck this week end. I could not tell if there was a difference or not as the truck was not warmed up enough for me to get into it on Friday(the muffler shop, my work , and my house are within about a mile and a half of each other). I do know it sounds a lot better. :D
