I am installing the combo boost and pyro gauge and was wondering which wire did you tap into for keyed power? Thanks, Wade

If you want it to dim then you need to pull out your headlight switch and tap into one of the two orange and brown wires... worked like a charm for me.

I found the dimmer switch wire and that is taken care of. I need to find a wire that powers up when the ignition key is turned on. Geno's says any wire that powers up would be good because the gauge draws so little but I would like to find an accessery wire or maybe I can tap into the cigarette lighter.

Maybe I am missing something but, I don't think you need to hook up the 12V power wire to anything. My Di-pricol EGT gauge only needed power for the light that lights the gauge. I think they are using a generic plug on the back of the gauge that says you need to hook 12V switched power to it. Except for the light that is hooked to the dimmer switch, what else in the gauge needs power?

The westach gauge in my truck needs power to run. Currently I dont have the pyro hooked up (needed to grab a tap from work today) and I thought that the boost portion of the gauge would work without power because the boost line goes right to the gauge so I assumed that part of the gauge was manual but it only worked when power was put to the power wire. The light is a separate piece withe 2 wires that slides into the back of the gauge.
