I pulled out the timing pin and it has about 1/8 in long tip on the end. I was wanting to find out where the timing was set first because the dealer replaced the pump before the warranty ran out. I had to take it back once because it was way off.

I was trying to advance the timing on my truck today and could not get the timing pin to go in the back of the cam. I tried for three hours to get that pin in. Needless to say I got mad and put it back together. anybody have a answer why I could'nt get the pin in?
thanks for the information. I will check out the spring and let you know what find. I heard or read that the 3k gsk does not work very well with #5 plate is this true?
I am looking for a little more power and also keep my egt down so what is the next thing I need to do? I also have a problem when i hit bumps the truck keeps on bucking until i let off the throttle any ideas ? thanks
