    I know Cummins, or Dodge say my 12 Valve CTD Ram can go 8,000-11,000 miles between oil & oil filter changes, but is that true? Is every 3,000K much better? Is it bad for the engine? I have been changing my oil & oil filter every 3,000 miles since I bought the truck in June, but is it o. k to...

    Thanks for the help & advice guys..... I drove the truck last night to test it, heres what happened: The clicking noise, and lights diming every 30-40 seconds did indeed happen at startup & while idleing, then it keep happenning as I drove under 17-20 mph, as I went over 17-20 mph, it stoped...

    Nice pic. ! That came out great (and thanks for the advice). Is that picture from under the truck, looking up? Or from in the cab, looking down @ the shifter? Looks like you bend the tab out twrds. the trans. case or trans. housing, right? Oo.

    Thanks illflem, I have noticed it only when the truck is sitting in park, Idling. I'll have to check it at speed... ... what does it mean if it happens above 17 mph? The grid heater seems to be working fine, is that sensor hard to replace? expensive? How can I check it?:rolleyes:

    On my 96 Dodge Ram CTD 4x4, I hear a "rattling" noise from the trasfercase (4x4) shifter, inside the cab. I read somewhere there is a fix for that..... How can I fix this and stop that annoying "rattling" sound?:(

    Sounds like the gasket made of Garlock is the safest bet..... where do I get a piece of Garlock? I don't want to loose all my oil! Oo.

    Thanks for all the help, its actually the stock tailpipe (but I'll take aftermarket... . ) , more than a "tip" , about 15"-24" long ? And goes from 4" to 3-3 1/2 " diameter. I'll check out bigexhaust.com... ... :D
