    Fan Shroud

You most likely would not have an issue until you had a load on it, enough to make the fan kick in.

    Got To Be A Record!!!!!

Sitting since 2017 I'm betting that the tires are flat spotted. I bet a day of driving will fix them up, or they are too far gone and will never go back to round.

    Cold. So Cold.

I will definitely look at a winter front soon. One other issue is the factory fill 50/50 OAT is only good for -37C / -34F...gelled off in the heater core is my guess as to what happened.

    Cold. So Cold.

I ask myself this too sometimes, but then we do not have tornadoes, hurricanes, giant spiders, etc ... but we do have cell free wilderness, clean air, low crime, and great beer.

    Cold. So Cold.

Until this day I have not ever needed a winter front. My 14 would warm up and the be so warm that I'd turn the temp down. I do not like the factory vinyl paint scratcher, so next year I will look at a stainless insert style.

    Cold. So Cold.

It was so cold here this morning that for the first time ever the old girl would not generate heat in the cab. Coldest drive to work in years. -44C = -47F .... Thawed her out in the shop and all is well now.

Is the 2019 truck the "all new" 5th Gen truck??

From what I have read, the cab and boxes are the same. Everything else is new, so Gen4.5 sounds about right.

Then there was four- digits of torque.

Wiredawg - your camshaft is part number 4983627. If someone else has an ESN I can compare them too.

    2wd camber bolt popping

Do you have a GoPro or other camera that you could mount under your truck or on the ground and see if anything is moving that should not be?

    Key-in Chime: Silenced!

Wow. Might want to look at your insurance policy ... where I live you are NOT covered for theft if you leave your keys in your vehicle and it gets taken.

    Key-in Chime: Silenced!

Sorry I read the first post too quickly and see now that it is the key in chime you are looking to disable.

    Weird Engine Sounds

My 2014 sounds different everyday. Wind, snow, rain, day, night, Tuesday, Sunday, morning, night it seems everything causes something to change.

Are you driving without your seatbelt?

    4th Gen Thoughts

I went from a 92 2wd 250 to my 2014 4wd 2500 ... needless to say worlds apart. That said, my 2500 is by far the best truck I have owned, and at 92000km (57000mi) I have no need for anything more at this point. 370HP/800TQ has pulled and carried any load I have thrown at it and can pull our...

    Good bye 06, hello 17 or 18

have a look at the 2019 1500's ... if you can wait until the new style makes it to the 2500 / 3500 's

Spare tire moving up front - summary of options

Might want to check your insurance too. Where I used to live the provincial insurance company would charge you for the damages in an accident for anything that protruded from the bumper. For example, if you were driving around with a receiver hitch and you were rear ended, if the hitch pierced a...

    Rail Yard Delays

Follow the money ... what is making more money for the railways, hauling oil or some guys truck? It is beyond frustrating - i waited 4 weeks for my truck to arrive.

TCS and Service Electronic Braking system problem

Only 2 options left. One is to try and find a set of bumps like railroad tracks and see if you can get it to happen consistently, then you can take a video and go to the dealer. Second is to return to the dealer and have them look again.
