Has anyone crossed the Ram NOx sensor part numbers to Cummins part numbers???

Definately not a match though, that one has the square 4 pin connector, where the Ram has a flat 4 pin. Appreciate the reply and pics though.

Has anyone crossed the Ram NOx sensor part numbers to Cummins part numbers???

So my parts guy ran my serial number and came up with the same, no lick crossing or finding a cummins part number for the outlet. We do have one of thise cummins ones in stock, but my cost is still over $450 not knowing if it will even work for sure. My only real fear is if it will communicate...

Aftermarket NOx sensors... Good, bad, and ugly...

So who has braved purchasing aftermarket Nox sensors, and what were the results? Any company's that are good, or to avoid? Also, price and purchased from, if your comfortable with that. And go... Thanks!

Has anyone crossed the Ram NOx sensor part numbers to Cummins part numbers???

Curious about this. I beleive i need to replace my outlet NOx sensor, and was hoping to find a standard looking cummins part number on the back of it, but instead found OEM Ram/chrysler part numbers. Going to have my parts guy see if he can cross them or if maybe one is an actual cummins part #...

Looking for experienced opinions... Exhaust system regeneration in process.

Well that makes me feel better. I just dont have experience on the automotive side, and they are a much smaller filter than i am used to dealing with, thus i dont really have a good idea of what life expectancy is. Thank you for your input!

Looking for experienced opinions... Exhaust system regeneration in process.

I would highly NOT recommend that process, and would certainly never do that myself. Honestly among other things, it would likely amount to a waste of time as i doubt it would remove much ash in the first place. There is special equipment and processes for cleaning a DPF. I may happen to have...

Looking for experienced opinions... Exhaust system regeneration in process.

Thank you all for the replys. I am very familiar with the regen process and how it works, as I am actually a cummins certified tech in ISB, ISC, ISL, & ISX engine products. However I work on the heavy duty side and am not familiar with the automotive side well... So until this morning I had no...

Looking for experienced opinions... Exhaust system regeneration in process.

I have a 2013 2500 with 172,xxx on the clock. I have owned it for 4.5 years. I got the "exhaust system regen in process, filter 100% full" message on my 26 mile, mostly highway, drive to work today, for the FIRST TIME since i have owned the truck. It went thru to 70% and then completed within...

    8.4 AN Nav system glitches

Thank you for all the info... mine is also a 2013, only 2500 series. Would be interested in some more detailed info on the company you sent to for repairs, as well as the results

    8.4 AN Nav system glitches

So ... update. I had my truck at the dealer back in October for a recall, and while there had them manually do the radio update per the service bulletin, since they said they could cover it even though my warranty is well gone. I should note, it was supposed to take maybe 2 hours per the...

    8.4 AN Nav system glitches

Well that's discouraging. Mine has intermittent "vehicle phone failure, see dealer" messages, and some times the clock stops updating and stays on one time. Supposedly things this OTA update should fix. Have not received a letter about it yet much less the update. Fingers crossed I guess.

    8.4 AN Nav system glitches

Define latest update? There is a current OTA radio software update that is supposed to fix those specific problems. There is a bulletin out on it, I'll have to look up the number on it again.

    Update p20ee saga....

There should only be 2 NOx sensors, an inlet and outlet. They are not likely the same part number. Other than a power supply and ground, they have their own internal "computer" And then communicate all their information to the engine computer (ECM) via a dedicated CAN bus. They tend to do their...

Are EGR free engines in our future?

Fyi, Cummins has already used those, starting 2013 i think, and subsequently has also eliminated them again at this point due to having to many issues with them. Detroit diesel also has used them and looks to be eliminating them again also. They are a sensor which looked for soot particles after...

    Torque Pro app questions

I believe, For aftertreatment temp sensors... temp 1 should be DOC inlet temp, temp 2 should be DPF inlet (or DOC outlet, depending how you like to look at it and/or your troubleshooting manual likes to call it), temp 3 is DPF outlet temp. If you are looking at exhaust differential psi, you...

    Ambient Temperature sensor

Thanks ... I was afraid of that, lol. Was thinking about relocating it somewhere more shady, but that may be more challenging than it's worth if I have to rewire all the way from the mirror. It does self correct after you start moving. Have seen temps well over 100 degrees after being parked in...
