Redhead on my 2002 and no issues so far - maybe 15k miles. I did a brace and Borgeson shaft just prior to the box and they are still in place. I am about to do the Rock Solid Ram Truck steering fix if mother nature would get her I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER together!

Even 18" wheels with some sidewall would help it out and still look pretty good. Not a fan of the big wheels myself. Aside from that what is the condition of the front end? If it has worn steering and suspension parts it will not help either.

What year truck? 24V running the catch can on front cover still? Is there a chance your vacuum pump seal went out and you are pressurizing the crankcase - pushing oil into that bottle that is full or wherever it can find a way out for that matter? Check oil pan bolts? Just throwing out some...

And as for the peel and stick deal....the roof material typically isn't the issue. It is the vents, seams, edges, etc. that end up leaking. Take the Eternabond and cover all of these after a thorough cleaning and then coat the entire roof with a UV protectant.

I second the Eternabond. Clean the joints well, fill voids with caulk and then go over all the seams/joints with the 4" tape. I had to replace some older sewer vent caps and also my fridge vent cover. Good luck.

I am one of those that went with a needle valve off a tee that I cut in (Air Dog supply line with a barbed push lock tee fitting) just ahead of the VP and just cracked it open with the sender threaded into the valve. Even then I can see the gauge bounce some. I am thankful I installed the gauge...

Nice, I looked today and the shaft is not too far onto the column so the u joint hitting there isn't my issue. I went through and checked everything and greased all zirks. I will have the shaft out hopefully this week for the column bushing and will definitely be taking it apart per your post...

Great find. Thanks for the heads up. I am headed out now to take a look at things, grease the entire truck and rotate tires. I may not take the shaft out today as I don't have the new bushing for the column yet but I will follow up with results when I do.

Thanks. I will see how I make out with it. I have one "notchy" spot when turning left that I am going to chase down when the weather gets its act together. Take a freeway off/on ramp for example.....if you are into a left hander and get to a certain point you have to persuade the wheel past...

You should be able to verify that the ECM is sending a voltage signal to the lift pump with a test light or meter. It will be a short signal once the key is cycled or if you bump the starter it should run for 20-30 seconds. It would help to have a wiring diagram for your FASS pump or follow...

This does not sound normal and I would not drive it any further, in fact recommend a flat bed to a different dealer. There is something very wrong with the steering. How many miles are on the truck? Original tires? Condition of the other 3? Have we hit anything....potholes?

Do not start the truck but....turn key on, turn key off, turn key on, turn key off, turn key on.....record all codes. Should get something from PCM and something from ECM. Google search for a list of codes. This will get you started.

I am on the second AD pump in 6 years. I did send the warranty card in last time so it should be covered next time around.
