’99 Ram manual transmission - rebuild or replace

In my opinion, you’d be better off to put it back with the right parts as it came. When you start changing things, you’re opening Pandora’s box.

    2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Front hubs

That’s the way most all RWD vehicles USED to be. Some, like newer F-150’s, now use a hub like 4x4’s do. That way the knuckles, rotors, hubs, etc are the same for all of them. I’ve just never heard them referred to as “hubs”, always just rotors and bearings.

    2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission AC fitting on 2001 3500

Those plastic vacuum lines get to the point if you look at them hard, they'll break. I replaced mine with air brake tubing and used vacuum hose for couplers.

    2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Front hubs

Aren't we talking about Inner and Outer Wheel Bearings and Rotors or do the 2nd Gen RWD 3500's use hubs like a 4X4? Lots of talk about "Hubs" in this thread....

    Clean the inside windsheild

I bought one of these off Amazon. The head is rectangular. I put grip tape on the flat side and use terry cloth wash cloths. This is the best window cleaner I’ve ever used. Safe for tint, too.

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) correct fuel pressure?

No, that’s a 2nd Gen pump modified for a 1st Gen VE pump system. They run a lower pressure than the 2nd Gen P-pump system. What he’s talking about is a Cummins pump made in the DCEC plant in China, Donfeng Cummins Engine Company. https://www.dcec-engine.com/

    Wow....this is crazy.

    Nah, it’s not too heavy….

    Injection pump timing

If you moved the gear a tooth, it probably wouldn't run. The gear has to be aligned properly and the woodruff key with the correct offset must be used. The only way to adjust timing is with a programmer. The number for the correct key is stamped on the pump.

    1995 3500 transmission cooler

It does serve a purpose, more warming cold fluid than cooling hot fluid I think. You should be fine with it bypassed. The ones on the 2nd Gens are pretty much bulletproof unless you live in the north and they rust out. The ones on the 3rd Gens were VERY problematic.

    1995 3500 transmission cooler

It was a Cummins part, shows not available now. They called it a "Torque Convertor Oil Cooler." It's commonly called a Heat Exchanger. These were the part numbers they used for it. Maybe you can find a NOS online. If not, you'll have to go to the junk yard. 3926670 3923080 3925609

    Wow....this is crazy.

Yes, I agree. They’ll park with two wheels over the line, supposedly “protecting” themselves and who they have pulled over. Then, they have a whole array of super bright lights flashing blinding you from seeing anything else. BUT, that should give you enough warning to give them PLENTY of room.
