where is the TIPM located? I replaced a relay that dealer says is a starter relay that mounts to the pass side battery box, on the side facing the firewall.

My understanding is that the computer tells the starter to run/off. I have just bumped the start position to see if the starter would still come on and start the engine. It did, that is, I believe verifies that the computer tells the starter to run/off.

Update. Ordered a replacement pump only and today installed it. Now no more noise in the cab. You can hardly hear it running from in the cab with the engine off, and not at all when the engine is running.

Noise is still there when you turn the blower off.

Ok, production date 09-02. So, I guess 47re transmission? So, how are these rebuilt better than the stock 47re? Same parts and pieces as for the 48re? Or are there no upgrades for this transmission? Haven't really found anything referring to building a 47re.
