I have used my EB all the time since I got my truck. I have been told to use it ALL the time. It will help with the turbo not getting plugged up. Also it just sounds great. Especially with an after market intake.

I have been thinking of creating an air bag suspension for my 79 IH scout as well as maybe my 07 2500. I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on the reliability, strength and longevity of a well designed air bag suspension.

My bad I thought you were thinking about the reliability of the axle with the offset. I would do it if its not used at high speeds and you feel ok with how it "fits". Or just say the hell with it and tac the lugs on there after.

Damn, well the dealer said 6200 for everything (axle, radiator, fan clutch) so I cant afford it out of pocket. I guess I will just have to take the hike and deal with it. But I dont understand the radiator needing replaced. never leaked smelled or anything. I will call the dealer and insurance...

I would think it would be no different than putting offset wheels on and truck axle. That should be a dana 60 I think unless it is some odd year but at least something similar, so you could throw whatever you want at it and it should be fine. although being a 250 it is probably not a full...

I have a Ranch hand and love it. I haven't hit any deer but I have been out on some trails and pushed over a few trees. Also used it to pull a few Jeeps out of the mud.

Ever since I have had my 6. 7L I have noticed it is harder to start than any other CTD I have seen started. It needs to turn over several times before it will start. Sometimes it doesn't start and I have to try again. I have a '79 IH Scout II I put fuel injection on that can sit for 2 years...

Just a thought I had. Does anyone know if an exhaust from an earlier model truck would fit on the 6. 7. I maen fit as in the exhaust tubing. I know there wouldn't be bungs for the sensors and I know it would throw codes. But would it fit.

I had a similar problem with my 6. 7. It was after I had used some fuel additives. It went away by the next takn of fuel so I dont know if it was bad fuel or the additive or what but it went away. It sounded just like a 98. 5.
