There is also an o-ring at the 90* elbow coming off the turbo too. I had a whine noise and went through all the clamps and boots and they were good. then remembered the o ring and sure enough it was only half there. so you might be losing some boost there too.

mabee its because you have a cummings not a cummins, j/k :-laf does the 4x4 work when the tcase is in 4x4? possible some wires got pinched somewhere during the swap. its happpened before
