2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission new headlight assy opinions

The light pattern is some vague, amorphous blob. On low beam, without my fog lights on, I get almost no light in front of my truck and yet the light seems to disappear down the road. On high beam, the light is aimed so high, it barely hits the road at all...completely useless, except for reading...

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission new headlight assy opinions

I have those lights on my truck and I absolutely hate them. They have the worst light pattern I've ever seen and they don't even seem as bright as old, yellowed stock lights. Adjusting is a huge pain, as was installation. The crappiest part of the whole deal is that I love the way they look...

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) transmission Shifting/Hunting Solutions

All you would have to do is use a chassis ground instead of the battery ground.

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Lukes link has loosened up again, goodbye to it...

I found the DSS, (SolidSteel. biz - Home of the Dodge Steering Stabilizer), to be more effective in tightening up my steering than the Luke's Link... thought that helped too. The DSS really made things a lot firmer and more positive.

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Quad-adrenalin

The only issues I've ever had with my Pulse/Adrenaline combo have been with the pulse. The buttons have been something of a pain... they are way too small and spongy. They didn't work worth a darn until I took the Pulse apart and scratched them down a bit with scotch brite. I'm working on a...

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Thermostat

I don't remember what I paid at NAPA but it was around 25-30 bucks.

    2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Synthetic oil

Oil shouldn't pile up... it's just wrong and I hate it when that happens.

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission "Sport" style headlights

LMC Truck Parts - Pages 24 and 25 Whatever you do, stay away from the One Piece Euro Headlight Sets. I have a set and while they look great on the truck, they are junk. Crap lighting, (even with Nighthawk lights), difficult to install and a real pain to adjust. Just say no... I'll be dumping...

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Clean, smooth, cold weather injectors

Does anyone have any experience with Fireball or BD injectors? DD and Mach's seem to be among the more popular choices. Are DD the same as FBD's?

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Clean, smooth, cold weather injectors

I've decided to stay away from tips and will be going with a completely assembled injector set. It's a job I really don't want to have to do twice so getting a matched set from the outset seems the best bet. My adrenaline already snaps my head back when I crank it up on the stock tunes so...

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Clean, smooth, cold weather injectors

Good day. I'm thinking of doing the injectors in the near future. I've been doing little else but reading injector threads lately and I'm probably more confused than ever. I'm not asking for much, really; smooth running, good economy, a bit of a boost with a minimum of black, less white...

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) loosing prime

I had an injector tube with a very slight leak that was causing startup problems. The only evidence was the number two injector tube was slightly wet and there was occasionally a light diesel smell. I tightened up the tube and all is well. The really strange thing is that the starting issues...

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) P0216 Code and Cold Weather

I think it may be time to talk to a diesel mechanic. You're right. The two codes are; P0237 MAP Sens Voltage Too Low, P0112 Intake Air Temp Sens Voltage Low. You could be having ecm issues. It may be supplying 5 volts but it's not reading enough voltage.

    Arizona Stupid law?

It's easy to say, "just don't speed". I have found that more and more places have speed cameras at locations where speed limits are artificially low. If there are roads where people are speeding but there aren't any accidents, that is an indication of an artificially low speed limit. You will...

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) P0216 Code and Cold Weather

Wind effects the rate of cooling. Your fuel, (or deer or anything else), can only cool down to the temperature of its surroundings. If there's a wind, it will cool to that temperature faster.

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission How to install daytime running lights on a US truck (for Canadain law)

I ran a relay to automatically switch on my fog lights when the ignition was on. It satisfied the CT inspector.

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Quad-adrenalin

My adrenaline works perfectly. I downloaded the latest update for the pulse and the 1015 tune. I was driving around at level 10 for a while but usually use level 1 for mileage. The install is pretty simple. The instructions are well done and walk you right through it. There were a couple of...

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Quad-adrenalin

After playing with it for a while, the buttons on the Pulse, (which I wasn't impressed with immediately), have gotten even worse. Not one of the buttons works every time I press it and to get any of them to work at all, I have to really mash it... repeatedly. Even with this extra effort, I can...
