    part number for the 3200 gov spring

    Bosch #1-464-650-366 Sometimes they will know it if you call it the 366 spring. I have yet to find someone outside of a first gen guy, that calls it a 3200 rpm spring. I don't know its original application, but if you did, you could order it that way.

    VE Pump Removal

    My pump sprung a major leak and I will be doing the job on sunday. I can possibly take a bunch of pics and make a power point about it. It will probably take me a day to do the job and 3 months to do the presentation. Yes, I would love to see a video on it.

    It could also be a hose on the suction side. If that hose hets a hole in it, air will be pulled in and make the fluid foam. Foam take the same space as the fluid, but compresses to nothing and doesn't help turn the wheels. You should lift the front of the truck up and try turning with the engine...

    That seems way too hot. How is your fan clutch? After driving for a while, if you look at the fan when you shut the motor off, does it free spin at all? It shouldn't. Have you pressure washed the radiator from the motor side in a while? Is the Ic or AC condenser clogged with soot-n-stuff?

    It can be several things. A failing gearbox can create that problem as well as a pump going bad. A rag joint can even show some of the same characteristics.
