I tow a lot of weight, 10,000 lbs and my 4 speed std. duty needs an adjustment. It keeps shuddering when trying to accelerate onto the on ramp or up a moderate hill. It also keeps shifting gears INCLUDING OD when it's not supposed to. Of course when I slow down and just very slowly accelerate...

The filter is a cake walk even stock, once you get a long frog-sticker(slotted screwdriver) and a nice dead blow hammer. Just keep tapping the filter until it breaks loose. Installation is a snap.

Good info thus far. I'm in Tucson,Az btw. Why does this matter? My auto "shutters" and barks hard at times when climbing in 2nd gear. Sometimes in 3rd, even with the O/D off and it's annoying. Also the O/D light flickers at times, bumps or just daily driving, annoying too.
