    2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Exhaust brake

BD's website has them, or try cyclone diesel.com, or Jegs. BD is the most common brand But really spendy. about 60-70 bucks. Its red push/pull with aluminum braket and cable is attached to run to exhaust brake switch. I just bought mine last week from Orangevale diesel, in orangevale, ca paid...

Roland As I was reading your stats it seems we have the same truck. I am currently looking at the difference between teh BD exhaust brake and Jacobs. I wanted the turbo mount so it is obviously different than the in line. But does that BD make a lound rumble sound when it is on, ie does your...

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Rancho Shocks Vs. Bilsteins

I need to replace my front shocks w/ the addition of a 2" Front Skyjacker leveling kit, but should probably do all four corners. I did some research and it seems to be either the Rancho RS9000XL or the 5000 series Bilsteins. The Ranchos have a bigger outside diameter but you have to adjust them...

I am looking to install an exhaust brake with my new 5" exhaust kit. I was wondering what the advantages/dissadvantages are of the BD brake Vs. The Jacobs E-brake other than a substantial price difference. I heard the BD brake is louder and rumbles more like a semi sounds and the jacobs hisses...

    correct way to clean engine

I 've been doing this for 2 years and have not had a problem yet. It's obviously easier to get it clean once and maintain it, then doing it say twice a year after there is a lot of build up. make sure engine is cool before applying. Pre-dilute Simple Green with water and spray entire engine...

Big Concrete Pour in san Diego!

Just curious but unless those are "special Trucks" that hold more than 10 yards each, 258 trucks only yields 2580 cubic yards of concrete. Were there more trucks at each pump location?? Sorry do this for a living and it just caught my attention

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Aftermarket Exhaust systems

I appreciate all of your comments. I like to overdo things a bit, had to talk myself out of a bully dog 6" kit i saw searching on web, 700 bucks and more than i need but how great would that be, so a drone wont matter since I'll run a straight pipe single exit behind the rear wheel. Kit i...

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Aftermarket Exhaust systems

I am about to upgrade to a 5" aluminized exhaust system. What are the advantages/dissadvantages of using one brand over another ie, MBRP, Diamond Eye, Magnaflow, or even some cheap no name brand off E-Bay. Prices vary but can anyone out there share why one in particular is better than another...
