    Getting new turbo tomorrow

I had all the flashes etc done over the last two years, but with only 9000 miles on it I am nervous for the day when I don't have a warranty. The last flash, a week ago, caused the truck to pulse when it shifted into 6th(auto) under light throttle. Are the replacement turbos a new/revised...

    Getting new turbo tomorrow

Yep, My truck went in this morning for turbo replacement as well. 2262 last week and they took the intake, egr etc. and cleaned them up as well as the drill/tap/washout of the turbo. Less than 100 miles later the 2262 showed back up. Chyrsler told them to replace turbo, amazing enough that I did...

    6.7 'How to' DVD

Anyone get the DVD from dodge that tells you how to drive your new CTD. Kind of a waste of time, unless one is truly ignorant about diesels in general. I especially enjoyed the last section on 'aftermarket' mods. Personally, I think they should spend their money making these things work better...

    CA Emissions Nazi's

I am reading the bill to include all diesels built after 1997 "and" all diesels under 8501 GVW. So all small diesels regardless of YOM and all after 1997.

    Mileage

I have read that six cylinder engines, V-6's at least, do not function as MDS due to the geometry of the power cycle, maybe this is the same for the I-6 Cummins The following is from Allpar.com Bob Sheaves discussed why the system is almost always used on V8s and not V6s: "An Otto cycle...

    First 6.7 To Lock Up!

Thank you for the pics. If you have a second, a picture of the side of the turbo inlet that shows the pins/dowels that hold the silencer ring in.

    Questions about turbo cool-down times...

The TDR article is talking about the cool down feature in the C&C's

    First 6.7 To Lock Up!

Some shots of the pistons and a good shot of the front and side of the turbo would be sweet. I think a picture of the turbo would help some here see what needs to be done to remove the silencer ring.

anyone have a programmer or box on a 6.7?

I have seen 38-39 boost and I have it limited to 1350F which I have not reached. Highway 850, regen 1225, hammerdown 1/4 mile 1300. Sorry, had a '05 but it had so many transmission problems that I never bothered with the upgrades.

anyone have a programmer or box on a 6.7?

All seems normal, It happens about the same as on Level 0. When I made a pass on 3, I drove it home 30 minutes and it did not go into active regen, no catalyst warnings etc. I have the Attitude set to tell me when active regen occurs. I run ~B5 in the tank so I have read that this allows lower...
