well i am putting 35's on mine next week, and ran my duramax with 37's for 3 1/2 years with stock gears, axles, transmission, and edge hot juice and never had a bit of trouble, and liked the way it drove.

no thats what i am turning with 3:73's and a g56. i will have 35's on it soon to combat the problem.

i have the same thing with my truck 08 g56. I also have a small little blurp when below 2k rpms that feels like the tps quit receiving voltage, it has yet to throw a code though.

it works fine now. The dealer did not turn it on originally.

if you play around with the manual and put it in second, hold the brake and mash the throttle to do a burnout, it will trip that light every time. i know.

Ok guys, i grounded the dark green/orange wire under the hood, still no high idle... the dealer was supposed to turn the thing on when i first bought it... . do you think its still turned off, or have i not done everything i need to yet? Opinions?

dood those are bulb checks, are made to light up during koeo operation... read the owners manual, it will tell you the same.

it would be pretty hard to put the truck in gear without touching the clutch... . i was really hoping for the high idle in this truck... oh well.

hey guys... just brought home my 08 manual quad cab, and the dealership tried to turn the high idle/pto on, and they said it couldnt be done to the manual, any truth to this?
