The voltage on my 01 keeps dropping. It runs for about 5 minutes at around 12 volts then drops down to 8. Both batteries tested good and so did the alternator. The truck continues to run. What else should I look for?

Thank you both. The intake lift pump went in when I was less educated and the dealership never told me that they were relocating the lift pump anyway. I will have to look into the pump to see if its the correct one.

My 2001 was getting around 600 miles per tank and 19-20 MPG. Ok, so what Im understanding is the least expensive repair for what I might have is 1. Repalce governor pressure transducer 2. Replace solenoid ( which solenoid? is there a more specific name ) 3. Replace TC clutch pack (is TC tourque converter?) 4. Replace OD clutch pack (is OD overdrive)

I checked the fluid when the engine was cold. The fluid has the bright red, same as when it is new and it does not smell burnt. A bunch of the miles were put on while towing a trailer. Nothing major, around 4000lb. If it does need a rebuild, would you suggest a new transmission over a rebuild?

the delay in shifting is all the gears, and the shutter ive only noticed from the 3rd and 4th gear.
