    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) love the mpg!!!!!!!!!!!

    19. 68 mpg hand calculation all freeway and empty @65mph. 16. 3 mpg average as daily driver 13. 7 mpg towing 2400 lb boat. All in all I was dissapointed. Hoping for 19 mpg all around driving. But it is what it is and I like my truck. All stock, my first diesel and wow excellent power:)

    2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Front brake pads wearing out too soon, any ideas?

    I have problems with my brakes dragging. Right rear got steaming hot twice. Did the lubricating pin thing twice and still have problems. Bought new tires and could only turn 1 hub. I am going to replace calipers.

    My truck same way... easy on the move, HARD at a complete stop. My truck though has always demanded complete attention when being driven. Could caster play into this?

    '02 100k 18yr old daughter describes as "sticky". does not self center. Allis tight, alignment pro says all looks good. There is a service bulletin out regarding toe -in that I will see if he knows about.

    After 17 years...

    After 19 yrs chewin I quit cold turkey and unplanned. I noticed habit of constantly reaching into my pocket for my chew. Took me 6 mos. to overcome that reaching habit. I think reaching for it was an action I must have enjoyed.
