Rear tires wearing more than front?

I just get a kick out of people talking about this. Do diesel owners of newer trucks not realize that torque ratings have almost doubled in the last 6-7 years? These newer trucks have around 900 ft/lbs of torque. It makes sense that tire wear is going to be accelerated.

2016 3500 Aisin poor throttle response

Just turned 50. Dad's been dead for 17 years this month. Never took one dime from him over 18. The blown headgasket comment......that's actually why I upgraded the turbo, to lower the drive pressure to not do that. You guys that are running stock VGT's have more of a chance to do that now than I...

2016 3500 Aisin poor throttle response

Screw there warranty. Pulled the plug at 7,000 miles. I wouldn't trust 'em to work on the truck one time anyways. Be interesting to see what you looked like inside after eating your own crap for 100,000 miles... By then it's way to late if you plan on keeping it. My everyday driver is a 2012...

2016 3500 Aisin poor throttle response

No issues at all tuned with HPP, Throttle Sensitivity box, Pusher intake and a second gen turbo on my '16 Aisin. When I press the pedal, it just goes!

    AS69RC transmission fluid change

You guys and all your concerns and inputs kill me that use your trucks for hauling groceries. We have a couple trucks at the shop with the Aisin transmissions that work hard everyday and have over 300,000 on them and have never even had the fluid changed. I would LOVE to have all the money the...

Best Tuner for 3500 with Aisin (tired of throttle lag)

To answer your question JHawes, no........... you will have no issues with tuning if you use common sense not giving it hell all the time and run unsafe levels towing. It's not the tunes, it's the d*mba**es behind the tunes that screw there trucks up. IMO it is the only way to give your diesel...

Best Tuner for 3500 with Aisin (tired of throttle lag)

Never said it was Bob. Again, that is a ridiculous statement! You know as well as I do that the majority of issues come from the people that are running around on level 5 and not being responsible. Just like any FB group or forum, you usually only see the problems posted, not all the success...

Best Tuner for 3500 with Aisin (tired of throttle lag)

People hear the word tuner and automatically assume hot rod and beat the crap out of your truck. So this stigma automatically diverts to the threads of torn up transmissions, bad headgaskets, bad mileage, etc. It's just not always the case. I'm a 50 year old man and have run tuners for years...

Best Tuner for 3500 with Aisin (tired of throttle lag)

Have you tried the BD Throttle Sensitivity Box? Set on 100% it will totally move the truck out of the way and not void any warranty. About 70% of what Bob said is just not true. Please don't listen to anyone from California on deleting your truck. It's just a bad idea. The head gasket life...

    Wht Drain Fuel Filter(s)

For draining the fuel to change them out.

    Bad News for most

What most people don't think about stepping down to a gasser is resale value. The gassers drop drastically every year in value and the diesels don't. The money you saved on the gasser will be gone in a couple years in the blue book. Something big to consider.....

    Tips for new owner

That rack and book are over 20 years old, at least! New racks are degrees..... Wouldn't trust that rack to do my daughters go-kart.

Change filter at 30K on 2014 3500 aisin?

The warranty book at the dealer says every 60,000 for heavy transmission use and 120,000 for light duty use.

    vibration at 65 and above

I would think their is a reason they make them soft then? I'm sure it's to help dampen vibration through the truck. Another Ram issue obviously!

Vibration at highway speeds 60 to 75

    Look at #10 here: https://www.turbodieselregister.com/threads/258425-Sold-my-POS-2015-today-Never-looking-back%21

Sold my POS 2015 today. Never looking back!

It was an SLT. Never said it wasn't an animal towing. It's a beast. It's just the other 90% of the time. This post is just my experience with many past trucks. I have a right to my opinion just like you all have your opinion about things.
