Have seen flexplate to converter bolts and threads strip many times. I always install all bolts finger tight, then spin motor once more to torque.

Never saw a particulate sensor, or any other sensor in the stack of a big rig, Cummins or Detroit powered. What was eliminated was a ammonia sensor, I believe. saw this with Cummins big rigs, and heard same for Dodge CTDs. Not sure what DDC has done.

My first thought was caliper warped. Never saw that happen before. with bolts out of caliper, it lines up, but when I start bolts, and tighten, caliper goes out of alignment. Bolts aren't bent. Looks like pads sort of new, cant tell if calipers were recently replaced. Ever seen a caliper warp?

Use a hose pick, deal that you can get at auto part store, 90 degree from the handle. get it in between rubber and plastic to break them free. Use coolant to lube inside of new hose, and they will slip on easier.

Well, I discharged system, vacuumed it for over an hour, than added about 2 pounds of freon. system works ok for now. Did not replace the transducer, because I saw high side pressures normal, fan doing it's thing. Wonder if it was air in there.

I have to agree with Motorhead. I have done lots of A/C work, and can say I can tell by high and low side pressures whether a system is low or overcharged. I can also get a system working good with out having measured the amount of freon I added by watching pressures and by feeling the lines...

Based on my troubleshooting, it's long winded, but I think I figured it out,( code P1689, dead pedal, self accelerating, stalling), my 98 1/2 needs a ECM. I want to get the part, but am overwhelmed by all the stuff people have gone through with reman ECMs. Any one have a good recommendation for me?

S-60s were EGR since Oct, 2002. EGR was revised with a couple changes in '04. '07 S-60s saw DPFs and DDEC VI computer. DDC stopped building S-60 at the end of 2009. Dont see S-60s with exhaust fluid SCR .

Got my 07 for 26K, 100,000 miles, pretty clean. I only added Spyntecs. It did include heated leather, and really big speakers and amps under the seats. I think I got a good deal.

Could it be 1 or more stuck injectors, it wont run because stuck injectors are dumping rail pressure to the rest? Electrically, wouldn't a shorted to power, or shorted to ground, or an open circuit with the solenoid or wiring store a code as such? Just a thought.
