Thanks for the feedback. Will carry over all externals onto the "new" engine. I think the new engine runs off a 100 pin connector versus 50 pin for the Dodge. This could get messy. Anyone ever done this?

Hello, the 98.5 24V 5.9L Cummins is engine # 56458131. The "new" 1999 motor is engine # 45784162. Also, it is mated to an Allison transmission, but the seller says it is the same bellhousing as on the Dodge automatic transmission. Thank you.
