I just ordered and received a new Mopar filter for my 18’ and it is like the one you show. I checked everywhere and 68517554AA is the new number that supersedes 53034051AB so I hope it works as well. FCA may have changed manufacturers since they are using the same filter for the 2500 gas burners.

Clutch engagement percentage is controlled by the ecm by pulse width modulation. This is why I think it is programming.

Well I don’t think it can be the fan clutch since it will engage when the head pressure gets up on the a/c and since it is showing the temperature. But I’m not sure that sensor is the one that sends the signal to turn the fan on. The truck runs hotter with the a/c off.

Labor and parts came to $535.00 if I remember correctly. It was on FCA. But I don’t think it’s the clutch. I think it’s in the programming in the ECM. May have to explore installing the viscous fan clutch. After the holiday I’m going to call my dealer and see if I can get them to look at it...

I just put 4500 miles on mine towing 7k tt. Mine is about 600-650 miles per gallon of def and I didn’t keep up with the fuel. I may need to change my air filter after being in Colorado near the fires. It was hotter in SD than in Louisiana.

Well on the way back on our 4500 mile trip the ABS, Electronic Brake Control Light came on. So no cruise, Tow/Haul feature would only work decelerating. Wouldn’t hold it in gear longer to keep the rpm up. Engine Brake would only work sometimes. Took it to the dealer today and they read the codes...

It will if I don’t catch it in time but like I said you can’t ease in to the throttle and when you mash down it won’t try to pick it up. Sometimes you can bump the throttle and the cruise will take back off.
