    STOCK RIDE HEIGHT

That should work . I'm just use to measuring my 74 bronco the other way. A lot of early ford bronco's are so modified the only way was, top of axle to bottom of frame. Thanks Dave

    STOCK RIDE HEIGHT

What would be nice ,is a measurement from top of your axle tube to bottom of your frame or bump stop, that way it eliminates the tire difference, Thanks Dave

    STOCK RIDE HEIGHT

That's what I'm thinking , it may have a leveling kit up front. The rear looks stock, here are pics of the rear. My dad was the second owner, and the truck did have 33/12.50/16.5 tires, till I got it and changed to 16 inch.

    STOCK RIDE HEIGHT

Is that from the ground up to the front bump stop? If so, mine measures 22 inches and the tirers are 285/75 R16.

    STOCK RIDE HEIGHT

Thanks, it's kind of interesting that their is no information out their. Like I said, with my 74 bronco, when you measure from the top of the axle tube to the bottom of frame ( 7 inches for front and 6 inches for the back) anything over those measurement, will be lift above stock. I'll see if...

    STOCK RIDE HEIGHT

So, no one has ever dealt with this subject? Hard to believe, I've tried to search on here and come up with nothing. I guess I'll assume the truck doesn't have stock springs, so I'll look at leveling style of coils.

    STOCK RIDE HEIGHT

I know with my 74 bronco, you can measure top of axle tube to bottom of frame and it will tell you if its stock or a lift.

    STOCK RIDE HEIGHT

I'm in the process of replacing the front springs on my 1997 dodge 2500 4x4, with the dana 60. I'm not sure if the old spring are stock or a leveling spring. Is their a stander measurement for the stock height. If so where do you measure it? Thanks Dave

    hazard lights

Well it must be the power side of the fuse in the fuse box. I used a jumper wire from the positive side of battery to the opposite side of the fuse connection and they work. So this is what I ended up doing. I found a 12 volts source from a relay for aux tanks since I only have one tanks and the...

    hazard lights

Yes, I was going to get the power off the positive on the battery with the alligator clip and then pull the fuse for the hazard and put the spade end of the jumper wirer in where the fuse was.

    hazard lights

No power to either side, fuse was good even tried another fuse and checked both post in the box where the fuse plugs into no power, so that's why I'm thinking it's in the POWER DISTIBUTOR BLOCK. That's why I thought to use a jumper wire. But can try my idea till I get the truck back from the...

    hazard lights

So I think I have a plain of attack? since their is no power at the POWER DISTIBUTOR BLOCK, I would think that is the point where the hazard switch gets it's power, from the wiring diagrams I have, so I'm thinking of pulling the 20 amp fuse and using a jumper wire with a fuse in it and see if it...

    hazard lights

So I checked the connections and the flasher relay and all good, then checked for power at the relay and no voltage. Then went to the fuse panel in the engine, no voltage going to the 20 fuse. I'm stumped , is their a fuse under the dash?

    hazard lights

I was thinking that, I'll see if I push on it, if it will work.

One day she said come get the truck, so I've had it for 3 plus years, the truck has a good hart and running gear, no rust. Only problem is the...

    Battery cable kits

So I ended up with the kit from CE auto electrical supply, Gen 2 Dodge Diesel Truck Battery Cable Kits – CE Auto Electric Supply . I looked at Geno's to but the cost to ship and tax on top of the cost was about $70.00 more and the CE auto electrical supply kit was pretty close to the same items...
