Ya I just got back from a trip to the east coast. And it started doing it around Iowa/Indiana. And I can't remember where on the way back. And just the other day i took it on a 2 hour trip it ran fine all the way there but started doing it on the way back about 30 miles from home.
So on the highway my truck will do this thing where it won't spool the turbo up in sixth gear it will immediately shift to 5th and then it will spool up fine. Other times it seems to spool up just fine in sixth. Truck is a 2016 with 6.7 and 68rfe. Anyone else have this happen to them and what...
Mine doesn't have airbags. Just coils. And camper tongue weight is about 850lbs. And I'm using a weight distribution hitch. So truck should be far from overloaded

I took it out yesterday on a 60 mile run all pretty much flat and the trans leveled out at 195-197. And the first 30 miles never hit 180. So I don't know. Maybe running through the mountains while they're not large mountains still do have some grades. Maybe this is the difference in temp...
