I found out the hard way that MaxCare is voided when you have a flatbed. Luckily, the dealer who sold me the plan did it when the flatbed was already on the truck, so when I had a repair item denied by MaxCare due to the flatbed, the dealer refunded me the full amount that I paid originally...

As an update to this thread, in addition to the comment I just made above about the torque converter, I got the MD Distributors actuator installed with no problems. Runs great, and for the price I am happy. Hopefully it holds up. As for the issue with my MaxCare warranty, the original dealer...

To give you an update, I did have the Aisin torque converter replaced under the powertrain warranty, and oh my gosh it fixed the issue. So nice to be able to put the pedal down and not have that roaring anymore. I guess the torque converter was the problem! And all this time I've been chasing...

Ordered the actuator from M&D Distributors. I'll post about the install when I receive it.
