I spoke with Greg from https://gtturbos.com/ He was very helpful and did not rush me off the phone. He recommend a7x10 Injectors that he builds in house and a 62/67/12 Turbo I believe or a S300 style. He went over the pros and cons of each. Another company I spoke to recommend a similar set up.

Injector suggestions are welcome, There are a lot of options from many different companies.

The numbers do confuse me, I would pick it up quickly if I chatted with someone who could answer questions that I have. Some of these sellers just want to make the sale and not go into details.

I was thinking 0-60 would be the correct one.

Probably go with the autometer, DO I need to order it for the truck or are all the boost gauges set up as universal?

I have the quad with the boost fooler built in and I have an adjustable elbow which at this point I believe is turned all the way in.

I was looking for the 400 to 500 Range, I don't have the sheet in front of me but I think a 62/67 and 7x10 Injectors were suggested by what a appears to be a well regarded turbo builder on some of the FB forums. I may be off on those numbers though. This is new to me and can be quite confusing.

I didn't think they would be needed for minor power increases but All I keep hearing is you need studs and so on, Even some companies I called about injectors and turbos. This is one of the first threads I have read with people suggesting not to.

Ozy I have heard that since it reads from factory map that it has a hard time reading past 26 LB or so. Is this true I am not sure but I have heard it more than once. My Truck is stuck at around 26 and I want to confirm the pressure.

Hi, My son has the Quad which reads boost though the Map I believe but I am not sure if it is accurate, I want to add a Mechanical one. I believe I can use a boost bolt any tips on installing this? What bolt does it replace? I know Glowshift has mixed reviews for their Fuel pressure gauge...

The factory fog light switch that has the air bag switch as well doesn't fit right in the 98.5 dash lay out is different.

Maybe I should just do head studs and injectors first, There are many choices on injectors so i am not sure what ones to go with.

Is there a good write up and a suggestion and a mechanical gauge? Even if i hook it up temporary to get a feel for how the digital one reads. If I am over boosting the truck at the moment is that bad?

I believe it reads off the Map.

The truck does not smoke, When my son gets home I'll bring the I quad inside and call Support, to go over some of the settings, he showed me something that says max boost 24 LB, so maybe I need to adjust something.

Okay so its better to pull it off the waste gate side and plug the hose? Leave waste gate open? I am new to the diesel world and trying to figure it all out.

So will tapping the VP help with that, I would like to try and get at least 30 LB , The turbo has the elbow in the front. Can I pinch off the line going to the waste gate to try it? I have not adjusted anything on the Quad, plugged it in and selected 3 and 4 to try , I believe it is a HX35.
