Fram CA10261 is less than $20 at WalMart or the Zon and claims to serve all years of 6.7L Cummins Rams. It looks identical and claims to be exact replacement for the Cummins/Fleetguard AF37684.. Is it only Ram with Cummins that are so picky about what specific air filter is acceptable...

It just mystifies me that if CARBON and CARBON DIOXIDE is the hazard to the Environment, largely through the burning of Fossil Fuels…that the Approved Solution is to BURN MORE FOSSIL FUEL to convert the filter clogged with CARBON to CARBON DIOXIDE. How in H E double EL is that logical..?

@Tuesdak and Diesel85 … YEP! The little 4.7L V8 Ram 1500 was purchased at a great price because of that little-desired engine I’m sure..(and the fact it was a 2012 model still on the dealer lot in Jan ‘13…. otherwise it was pretty loaded with options for a Tradesmen…and I had not anticipated...
