    E-Mail Joke Of The Day.....

I hope the reserve was deservedly high!

    Specific front suspension parts

No personal experience w/that truck (seems you'll want to have sticker GAWR and some knowledge of upper ball joint mounty/size) but Moog-suspension-parts.com shows a lot of pieces, with part numbers. Since you're in So Cal I'm guessing you don't need metal parts like A-arms, strut arms, springs...

Setllantis crashing what does that mean for new trucks going forward

I'm curious if the neighbor works for Toyota...I don't think (it's a 2025 model) 4Runner Hybrid was in production six months ago and are just beginning to get out to dealers.

Who would do such a thing?

Interesting the S-10 that hasn't been built for 12 years is in second place and the relatively new 4 Series is third, but the worst part of that graphic is "Drivers per 1,000 with one or more DUI citations on their record."

ZF Powerline for 2025 RAM HD Diesel

Generally a 2010-or-later engine is allowed, though they're aiming at commercial vehicles. Pickups have always been defaulted to commercial vehicles but years ago having a camper mounted to a pickup got around that, and I doubt you'd have an issue visiting here with a camper on any pickup. Of...

Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Pac brake direct mount or Inline

I've used both styles, but on a first gen, and I'd take the turbo-mount. This page lists the part numbers so you can pick what you want...and describe both styles as 4-inch but if the turbo number is correct I'd disregard size. It says you'll need a C11342 adapter if running a 4-inch aftermarket...

Towing wiring harness different on 05?

This may be the case with recent HD trucks but having driven several trucks with a "tow package" that included towing mirrors it isn't universal. The "trailer-tow group" on a non-lux 2025 Ram 1500 includes trailer towing mirrors, among other things. Tow mirrors are offered standalone on Limited...

    Dually beds

No. I believe the CC has a narrower rear axle than a dually pickup (except for the SRW CC 3500)...need body builder access to verify.

Just a quick question regarding running boards.

I can't argue with aesthetics. For better cooling, I'm no aerodynamicist but I think the only way you get air stacked up under hood is if you close the bottom too; in a truck this heavy you can move a lot of air out the bottom without causing front-end lift. If speed builds air pressure...

Just a quick question regarding running boards.

I've never seen a factory cowl hood. I expect someone here might have actual data, and bet Ram designed the engine compartment with plenty of room to expel hot air out underneath, and any vent/extractor on the hood will only make your truck warmer inside the cab.

SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS: RAM BACK ON TOP

I can't prove it but Dodge dropped because of the Hornet, platform mate to the Alfa Tonale, and Alfa Romeo finished just ahead of Dodge. But you can only read so much into a survey where it's a "quality" issue if you don't like the clock placement, radio preset logic and CarPlay or Android Auto...

    2wd speedo

My truck is the same...odo accurate, speedo optimistic. But I've driven new stuff that isn't an y better, including a car with 3 clocks (plus sat radio and nav) and none of the 3 showed the same time.

Need to swap 2WD for 4WD

AFAIK for 2025 the Power Wagon is still 6.4 Hemi only. The Rebel HD does offer a Cummins, but it's not the same suspension as a PW, doesn't offer winch option on the diesel, no front locker, etc.

    4500 as truck camper mobile

Agree on scaling it and for the weights quoted a 3500 dually would be plenty. A 45/5500 might cost a few bucks more to register in Idaho but I'd see if there's a big difference for insurance, pickup to chassis cab.

    New 2023

I wish I could get a new truck when the mirror didn't work:D

    1st Gen exhaust pipe

I couldn't find anything either, so your cut-and-paste idea with the above or these probably best bet. FWIW, the Banks system on my IC first-get is 3" into the muffler, 3.5 behind it.

    L10 and Allison Transmission

If you can find the engine data plate (on side of rocker housing) you'll get the power rating and CPL number and google from there. Low mileage is on your side, get video if they run/drive.

98.5 24 Valve need help choosing a complete exhaust system.

I second the drive-by...or a tunnel/underpass if available. I never owned one but a pal's muffler-free 24-valve seemed to bark at startup and otherwise was only "loud" driving along a sound wall or heavily forested road...I put my window up and my First Gen isn't what you'd call quiet.
