    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Radiator Hose Diameters Top 1.75, Bottom 2.0?

From near as I can tell, it looks like the top radiator hose is about 2. 0 O. D and 1. 75 I. D. But what some at a local racing shop were surprised when I asked about stainless steel hose replacement was that the bottom hose appeared to be 2. 25 O. D. and 2. 0 I. D. They said that this was...

Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Anyone Switched over to Evans NPG Waterless Coolant?

Really, fill half way and flush again. I thought the water will evaporate away and then just top off. At 25 bucks a gallon I cant see my sell throwing away that kind of money on flushing out water.

Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Anyone Switched over to Evans NPG Waterless Coolant?

OK, I am now ready to take the plunge into NPG+. How many gallons did you have to buy? (7) Some people are using the 7lb pressure cap and others are using the zero pressure cap. I wonder which is better? My first choice was the Zero pressure cap, but then after reading comments from others...

Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) How many gallons to completely change out all antifreeze?

Does anyone have experience on just how many gallons it would take to change out all the radiator coolant? Does anyone know the best drain locations to remove all the coolant?

Competition Water Mist Injection on 400-500HP?

I primarily use the NOS for turbo lag off the line and planed on using water/alky for pulling with boost so not to have to back off on the pedal to keep EGT under controll. A little propane with both never hurt either. I will take the advice given and keep the water/alky separate from the...

Competition Who says 24v's cant rev?

I checked a few months ago and someone was working on another black box to go to 3400+ but it wasn't done yet. Another person was changing out the whole ECM. Has any one yet made available a plug n play system to exceed the 3,200 rev limiter? I know people criticize the need, but it does make...

Competition Water Mist Injection on 400-500HP?

My New Aquamist system is shipped out and will be here in a couple of days. 220psi pump and a selection of jets. Thanks for the mixture tip of 60%H2O and 40% Methanol alcohol. I will find a fuel supply shop and buy what I need. It is nice to know that adding too much won't hurt anything. I like...

Competition What about a Honda 2000 instead of a WRX

That way I could drive it up in the back pick up of my Dodge. The power to weight ratio is better than some Porches. A little convertible is exactly opposite a big Dodge 4x4. Could be a lot of fun hopped up. Another FAST AND FURIOUS craze.

Competition Water Mist Injection on 400-500HP?

If I am using a 1. 0mm water jet, what mixture of distilled water to ??? would you use? Especially if you want to keep it from freezing in the winter. Under 40lbs of boost and stage 1 nitrous kit with a . 055 jet, is it safe to use water injection? I would think under pressure that the air...

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) What about water mist systems?

NXS I am Sold and now can't wait to try it out. The Aquamist S1 kit website information had the best explanation and resource information. I have a heavy 40' fifth wheel and DDIII injectors and am looking for extra insurance to climb long inclines. It sounds like a cool solution. I am surprised...

NXS Jerry, Where did you go to buy your Aquamist System 1S kit? I checked out the website and it didn't make any mention on dealers in the USA. It looks like the website is in the UK. How much did you pay? Ivan

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) What about water mist systems?

I was talking about after Turbo water mist in the tube before the intake manifold. It sound like what I would be looking for. Under full power you could pull down the 1400-1600 exhaust temp range a couple hundred degrees and keep from melting pistons for a little longer.

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) What about water mist systems?

I noticed how much cooler my exhaust temps were when it is raining and extra high humidity and then started thinking about what if I was to add a water mist system. Do people use them in competition during tractor pulls and drag racing or to clime a big hill with a heavy load?
