I just did what you suggested and fax the invoice with the engine # and TSB number on it back to the service manager. I have been getting the white smoke on cold am but my milage around town (90% freeway) is 15. 5-16, does that mean I shouldn't expect better? I only have 5300 miles on it.

Took my 04. 5 in for the TSB 18-037-04reprogramming of ecm. Got the truck back with an invoice that states: "checked for TSB does not apply". My engine # and date of manufacture clearly are in the range that the bulletin says should have the reprogramming done. So, what to do next?

Thanks for the feedback. For the money it seems the Edge with the monitor is safe and effective. One question I had is does it read EGT from ECM or do you still have to install thermocouple on the downpipe?

I'm trying to decide which performance program to go with. I have read the Edge Attitude threads but have not seen any on this new reprogrammer from PPP. Has anyone had experience with them? The top performance one claims over 500bhp! runs about $900.

One more question, I have the amp 4ga wire going to the driver side battery, would running it to the other battery help? I guess I'll probably try that next!
