Check your batteries. A bad battery will make all kind of things go stupid

I use a piece of 3/8 or 5/16 rubber fuel line on a piece of brake line tubing to push over the cap and unscrew the cap. The brake line keeps the rubber line straight, and also allows you to push the cap out if needed. The cap stays in the the rubber fuel line, and makes it easy to re-install.

Do you have the in bed trailer connection? If you do, unplug the harness at the Y behind the bumper from the main harness, disconnecting both trailer outlets. Go for a test drive, did it quit? If so, replace the Y harness to both outlets. I have had 2 go bad on me.

How old are the batteries?? Have them load tested first! Before any other attempt of diagnosis.

I would agree. I have see 240* pulling grades with 18,000 in tow several times. Especialy when starting at the bottom and trying to come up to speed, and high ambient temps.

How does he know it does a regen? Pre-Def will regen more often. How much idling does he do? Excessive idling will be the first thing I would eliminate.

Bars are rated for how much weight you want to transfer to the steer axle, not the tonque weight

Just because they were new 6 months ago, doesn't mean they aren't bad. New batteries fail too

Have the batteries tested, OE batteries never last past 2 years. All of my RAms needed atleast one battery before the 2 year mark. And you have all the classic signs of bad batteries.
