If I went and ordered a truck today, could I still get the 0% on it, I will need a new truck in july, but don't wanna wait and not be able to get 0%, also is there any special discount for using chrysler financial again, they have my lease now, however I will not do another lease

I didn't know people actully would lease a diesel truck. I mean, what's the point to only "use" a truck for 30,000 miles over 3 years, I put on 30,000 miles in 7 or 8 months, and I don't even use the truck for work, just to get there and back and play.

I'm sure you get that point now :) hence the 0%, to which I have no comment on.

I leased my '01. At the time it was easier for me to get into the truck I wanted (with the intention of buying it out. ) I knew what the buy- out cost was. I actually made equity on the lease! It's value was $8K over the buy- out some 9 mos ago! With trading it in 6 months early towards my new one I actually had $4K (at that early time) which I rolled into this one. My payments are $20 more per month over the old payment. Leases nowadays (from what I'm told) are not as attractive. Tried it on the new one, but the buy- out was WAY more than I wanted.

Anyway- I did go to my local dealer to kick some tires and asked about the 0%... . They said it was good (I think... ) until the first of May on lot or orders.

the lease is down right dumb unless you own a business which I do, even with that I would never do it again, best way to tell if you are getting taken is, pull up an amortization calculator and figure how much your total payments are with a lease, then put that against the buyout, now figure a buy total payments and interest, then see what you owe on the truck after a given time say 48 mos if you are comparing a 48 mo lease, which my truck is, my trucks buyout is 16k, which I should be able to at least get 21k from it, however several people have told me I should be able to negotiate the buyout down to 14k, if I can do this for me the lease will about wash out with my tax savings. has anyone had any luck with negotiating leases down??

I think your much better off taking the 2500. 00 rebate and financing it through a credit union... (My credit union has 4. 99% rate right now)

I used to think that way too, all they do is just charge more for the truck, but 0% is actually a screaming good deal and here is why, If you can get a truck for say $35,500 @ 0% for 60 mos your payments will be 591. 66/mo

If you take the $2500 incentive even @4. 99% for 60mos. your payment will be 622. 60 on a $33,000 loan, you will also be paying 4355. 97 in interest over the life of the loan, if you can get 0% plus take the farm bureau and business dicount thats another 1k off if you are doing the 0% deal, kinda makes buying anything but a new truck pretty dumb these days.

When i ordered my truck in early march 04 they were also offering 0% but that ended in the end of march. After checking around a bit ( the dealer wouldnt give a straight answer) i was told by dc that whatever offers are valid at the time of order would be in effect at the time of delivery. So thats the deal i did. Im sure you need to put $$ down and have the contract in hand when you place the order.

I beleive that if you order the truck now and put a down payment on it you can get the 0% when the truck comes in. But just to make sure and ease your mind go talk to a good dealership.

Just ordered a truck for a buddy yesterday from Richard Bowman (Dishman Dodge). $1000 below invoice and locked in 0% with no payments until October Oo.
