Since I replaced my drum brake rear with a disk brake rear, I need a 00-02 combination (proportioning) valve. I have searched the parts warehouses/dealers, with no luck. All say discontinued. Does anyone know if there is a part # that supersedes part #5015425AA? Maybe an 03 and newer?

Did you search on ebay? I needed one about this time last year and found multiple sources for new and used ones. I think some sources were dealers too. I do recognize that part number as the one that fits 2nd gens.

When I did the larger brake cylinders on my 98 I removed the proportioning valve. When I did the rear disk kit I did NOT replace the proportioning valve. My logic why do so since I had rear antilock. No ill effects!

Thank you for thr replies. I've been searching ebay, but no luck so far. I already removed my height sensing proportioning valve. The one I need now is the combination valve that delays the front brakes and shuts the front or rear circuit down if a leak occurs (also lights up the dash idiot light). It is located near the master cylinder. I would like to reserve removing this one as a last resort. I appreciate y'alls help.

I installed a rear disc kit on my 99 without changing mstr cyl, proportioning valve and left load senser in place about 8 years back. No problems...

I appreciate your posts. Unfortunately I am unable to retain the rear height proportioning valve because I have airbags. I also dont like the delay to the front calipers.

I just ordered a used combination valve off ebay. Sometimes you just got to roll the dice... Lol!

If that doesn't work you could get an in-line adjustable (has a dial to manually set) bias valve thru Summit. I can't think of the name of the big aftermarket manu. of brake components that makes it right now. CRS...
