Clutch not disengaging?

Have a new QC with DC extended warranty. Would like to realize the potential in the stock engine for towing, and NOT void the warranty. Haven't seen much on the board about DD products.
Will the DD True Torque Power Module work on a stock ETH?
Does the TTPM have a turbo boost module?
Thanks for any help and info.

Doug, I have A DD module on mine and am very happy with it. Really wakes up the truck. Took about 10 minutes to install the box and boost elbow. I always thought my truck was a little doggy down low and the DD module makes it pull hard from lower RPM.

Thanks for the reply,Ram4Sam. So what do you do when you take the truck in for service?
Remove the box?? How about those pesky 'void' stickers across the plug connections on the MAP and ECM?? Just get rid of 'em and say they were never on there?

Most of the VOID stickers I have seen are on the harness to injection pump connection. Some trucks also have a VOID sticker where the ECM plugs in. I think the VA and VA clones are the only boxes that plug in between the injection pump and the harness. I am not aware of any boxes that plug in between the ECM and the harness.

Thanks again Sam- looks like the DD box is my answer! I hear it's a good box for towing and low end torque for a stock Cummins, that's what I'm looking for.
I understand it has 3 power settings- which one do you run on??

The DD box is a slightly different vesion of the Edge EZ. Same box pretty much, but DD's is setup to match their injectors.

Doug, hopefully the dealer won't ever see my truck again for service. I let them do the first oil change(it was free) and it took me longer to clean up the oil mess under the hood than it would have taken me to change it myself. It is on the setting for stock trucks(timing plus fuel after 3 lbs. of boost)
Haven't tried the other settings(one is timing plus fuel after 20 lbs boost, for trucks with bigger inj. ) or the other which is for timing only. It is too much fun driving it with the setting it comes with so I haven't changed it. First full tank mpg check, the mileage didn't change but I kinda had a lead foot at times(kid with a new toy thing). The last two tanks I tried to drive a little more sanely and mpg seems to be 1 to 2 mpg better. I haven't had a chance to tow yet, and my trailer only weighs 6000 lbs. so can't commment on that yet. As I said before, it pulls harder and at lower rpm than stock so I'm happy with it.

Mileage gains can be had with the EZ, DD or VA. If you drive sanely, you can see a 1-2 MPG increase. I have seen this, and a fellow Rammer here in Phoenix just put one on, and called to say his mileage went up about 2 MPG.

Well, the question I have is... who sells replacement void stickers? I'm worried that mine might come off the next time I pressure wash the engine. #ad

Doug/Joe, with the DD box you don't have to deal with any void stickers. It connects to the MAP sensor(no void stickers on mine) and to a test plug(again no sticker)that is near the power steering pump. It takes two minutes to unplug the box and dealer won't be the wiser. The boost elbow can be switched back real easy, so again I don't think the dealer will be able to tell you been messing around.

My first bomb, after the gauges and blow by bottle re-route, was the Edge EZ. You will not believe how this box moves the ETH. My boost went from around 20 psi's stock to 28 psi's at full throttle and with the aftermarket boost elbow installed. Another member that I speak with on a regular basis has had the same results with the DD box. If you plan on injector upgrades in the future and are really concerned with smoke, the DD might be your best bet. However, with the mods. I have( stage III injectors,HX40, yada yada) and the EZ set on jumper one(most aggressive) I can start from idle with or without smoke at will. I can also help contribute to global warming, i. e. , tons of that beautiful black stuff, if I get on the go pedal before the boost is up. Personally, I don't think you could go wrong with either box, you won't be dissapointed.
