unfortunately a chirpractor at this time isn't going to fix the issues im having. So we are going to tackle it one day at a time. .

truck update

Well im trying to settle with them on my truck, i actually got good news, since my title and the one when i bought the truck was clean they are giving me full value for the truck with excep. i retain my truck, so now will be next week the lady is going to see what a salvage/auction however they do it what they would give *them* if they were to take the truck. .

Thoughts ideas, consensus? u can pm me if you feel like u need to. im making it as far as i can, dizzy spells aren't as bad just when i try to do something, simplest of tasks (trying to put dishes in dishwasher) i get swimmy headed and sick at my stomach:{

Just a few words. Make the desicion to talk or NOT talk with the insurance co. and stick with it. Do not threaten the insurance co. with an atty. Just do it if you think it's the correct path. Be prepared to wait much longer for a settlement. Time is money.
I have used 3 chiropractors in the past. The first 2 wanted a return visit more than anything. "Come back in two days" Come back in 3 days" "Come back" JUST MONEY !!. The third I found by word of mouth and 3 visits later I never returned. That was 9 years ago. The adjustments worked and I was happy. Ask around. You might be suprised. Won't hurt to make a visit.
Good luck.

actually i did speak with atty about the truck and they do not deal with that so actually after some checking i figured this was the best way to go about the truck, the other issue isn't for a chiropractor i don't believe, im taking it one day at a time and going from there.
I did have my truck retrieved from where it was being kept and he said *its not really that bad*, actually that was a relief but he has been a mechanic since he was old enough to hold a wrench so the 92 is in good hands. Next week will shed more light.

salvage yard offer

Hey guys and gals

Wanted to say well i had my first visit with a specialist today, that went well, shed some light into whats going on, i have a better understanding, typical lab work and being set up for more scans/test ones i have never heard of.

Anyways we get home get the mail and i recv'd a check from *his* insurance company, i don't know if they thing im going to cash it right away for what but i was waiting to hear from them about what a salvage yard would give them and they were going to take that off the amount owed to me for my truck, take in mind im retaining my truck, i don't have any papers with this letter other than they are saying a salvage yard offered them $1500 for this vehicle had they retained it, thoughts, actually im not cashing this and giving her a call tomorrow and asking for papers on who they called and so forth.

Im guessing they will figure i will cash the check right away, not going to happen.

Wow, that seems high. I'd think 500 would be closer. Not sure, but that's my guess. Salvage yards like plenty of profit margin. I had a car totalled a few times and kept it. Every time it seemed the salvage value was about 20 percent or less of the vehicle value in its unwrecked state. The ins company would never take into account options or how clean it was. The only think they cared about was mileage. They went straight to the lowball of the NADA book. I even called them out on it telling them to look at the first page of that book where it states "not to be used to determine insurance values". Beat them at their own game and play with NADA a bit to get a feel for what they're seeing on values.

In one instance when my car was totalled, I was glad I had my own full coverage. While I was driving, a lady in the car next to me looked at me and gassed it, cutting the wheel into my lane. She clipped the front of my car and spun me off the highway into a light pole. Her insurance company stated they were only going to pay for 'the damage our client did directly to your car'. They were only going to fix a small dent in the fender. I told them 'nevermind, my ins co will fix it' They did and got my deductible back for me too. I won't say the name of the other persons ins carrier, but remember this: If they brag about saving you gobs of money, that money comes from somewhere. I would never use that company. I believe in service.

Good luck and I sure hope you're on the road to recovery Wyatt!

Get well soon!

Good luck.

Hey Guys and Gals

Wanted to update everyone, as of Thursday i had a EEG and a CT done, omg! the CT contrast made me sick, wasn't bad enough i got car sick going down again. Looks like will be next week for any results, not sure what they have or haven't found yet, pple i work with said can't scan something that isn't there Haha! there lucky my sense of humor has returned, im very greatful for them and their support as well as folks here. :)

Severe cabin fever set in a week or so ago, what makes it worse is the idea of being taken somewhere in fear of getting sick from riding... hopefully soon that shall pass also... Oo.

You need to be real careful with the contrast dye. I had a reaction to the contrast dye once, and had numbness in the face and nausea. My family doctor said I had an allergic reaction and should never use contrast dye again.

Hope you get to feeling better soon!

Let me tell ya, the guy that done the test told me, your going to get really hot but it will only last for a moment or so, which he was correct, that has to the be weirdest feeling ever. He also told me afterward that about 1 in every 5 that have it, it does make them sick at their stomach which is normal, so thankfully what happened wasn't a allergic reaction, im sick of getting sick though if that makes sense.
Thanks Gary.
