I noticed that the stranded cable that connects the positive terminals of the two batteries together has corrosion oozing out of the drivers side. It has been my experience that once the cable has corrosion started it is really hard to stop it and get it all stabilized with any assurity of permanence.
I will check on the price from Dodge, but will bet it will be way more than building a replacement cable.
If I build a replacement cable it looks like about two parallel lengths of #6 stranded copper wire with crimp connectors on each end (not soldered, physical crimp).
Is that about right or should the cable be a larger diameter #4 or #2 or ? (ie smaller AWG #) to carry the current + safety factor.
Thanks
