02 Fuel pressure gauge connection

Just got my Isspro fuel pressure gage for my 02. Where really is the best place to attach the line for the isolator? I have heard on the side of the injector pump from the filter, or on the bottom of the filter? I have all the nessesary hardware but just looking for the best location to get accurate gauge readings.

I had mine on the bottom of the filter housing. It's gonna get hammered by pulses, so even with an isolator, I recommend a needle valve.



Better yet, a solid plug in the line with a very small hole drilled in it. Say . 050"?
