2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission '02 under dash power

I need a power lead on an '02 QC 4x4 diesel that comes on when the ignition is on. It's just to activate a relay, so no need for much aperage. I looked for a wire, but there are so many and I don't have any easy way to tell if there

is power on them or not.

Easiest way for me. was to tap into the fuse block - the fuses are clearly marked - I used the one marked "spare" - it is one that is only on when the ignition is in the "on" position...

Is correct this is about the easiest and best place to get keyed on power. You can use a spade connector to plug into it and run the wire around the fuse block or tap into it from the back. It is pretty crowded in the back.

I think u can tie into the cigarette lighter plug wire. It is a key on supply. I used mine, labeled the wire, & left a wire that would be easy to get to for other add ons.

Same here, tapped the spare fuse in the fuse box. Easy to route to.
