Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 0216, 120 VP-44s back ordered

Took truck in for 0216 code that has been going on for the last couple months. Dealer said that they would warranty under cummins 100k. Said that they don't know when the replacement will be in since there are 120 vp-44s back ordered from bosch. Hope it's not to long, truck seems to still be driving okay, but never know when its going to go for good.

Don't know where they're getting them from... cumminsstuff.com and Industrial Injection.com both have 'em. Just put mine on last week-end.

Dealership called today - North Texas - and they had the truck for a day and told me the injection pump was replaced and I would want to change the fuel filter, other than that good to go.



So it sounds like a regional problem maybe?? Good luck.
