Does anyone know if the 03/04 rear seat is the same as far as bolt up (interchange). My truck came with the solid one piece rear bench seat, and I would like to have the 60/40 split. I have the dark slate interior (charcoal), and also was wondering if colors would still match. I believe the 04 also is offering the head rest for the rear also, I like that feature. This is if I could find a wrecked one in good condition, DC wants a arm and a leg if you order one through part's dept for the 03--60/40.

Yes. 2003/2004 are basically the same trucks. The only real changes made for the 2004 trucks are front and rear adjustable headrests and the lumbar adjustment for the front seats is now manually adjusted instead of air/electric.

Lumbar support

Do you know the reason for the change to manual adjustment for the lumbar support on the 2004?

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Just like all the other little "changes" they have made over the past few years. DC is run by rabid German bean counters, not "car guys" (or should I say "vehicle guys" )
