Yeah thats HUGE... . I bought my 05 last November, had 10K on it, without talking to the owner first... I looked underhood and could tell that the truck hadn't been used hard and hot (dad's 06 shows more heat and he tows with a pyro and doesn't let it get above 1200 continuous). . the trailer hitch showed very little wear, but there was a brake controller... The bed had a spray on liner, but very little abuse signs... And only 10K in 3 years of service... . I figured I was safe. . . which I was. I did finally talk to the previous owner. . he bought it for hunting, and hunted 2 seasons on it, and drove it to work once or twice a month to get the oil hot... He had done oil changes at 500, 3K,6K,9K... he had also put about 2K in accessories in it... . I guess he sold it because it put his left leg to sleep on long drives and his sons chevy didn't... . He doesn't like the duramax over the rock solid cummins, but his leg won that battle... . I had determined the truck hadn't been abused, but still 10K in 3 years is either a good thing or a bad thing... and I am glad I got the info.....
So long story short, if you can find some previous owner info get it... even if its covert ops.
