hi, I just joined TDR. I am looking into adding injectors to my truck, does anyone know of injectors that will make a disent amount of smoke on a 03-04 while not compromising my ability to tow a 8K pound trailer?

Yeah, that's the way to make modern diesel vehicles more accepted in society and have more diesel options available to us! Take a new vehicle and intentionally make it smoke like an older one, that will surely help the public's opinion on diesels. . :rolleyes: I can see asking for more power, but just looking to make your truck smoke is retarded IMO.

Lightman,

I see your point.

But, he didn't ask if you thought he was retarded.

He just asked for more smoke!

Lightman lighten UP! :rolleyes: :{

If it was me I would go with the TST PMCR. It will run cooler (unless you have EDM injectors, which dont smoke as much). It is adjustable, has more power, built in gauges if desired, cheaper, easier to install, EGT cutoff for towing/playing, and it will toss out some pretty good smoke for a common rail motor.

Justin, Im suprised that you didnt chime in with the TST as well, cause I know you love yours.

My TST box really doesnt make the truck smoke a whole bunch.

Yeah, I do like the TST box a bunch.

But, I am easy on this truck :-laf :-laf

The TST box is nice:

Adjustable, Programmable, Built in Gauges (saves money!).

I'm not sure I asked your opinion on my post either ;) I don't care if he asked or not, it's bad for all diesel owners when someone irresponsibly tries to make their truck smoke.

I couldn't agree with you more... it is absolutely retarded!

Unfortunately my Dodge does not smoke (yet)!! But, my 94 Ferd F-350 dose! When I pound the gas it looks like someone threw a bag of charcoal out the window! I love it!! So do all of the ricers I toss it out on!! Haha! Diesel smoke makes my girl h@rn#y!

If you got'em smoke um!!

I love being able to smoke on demand. Turn down the boxes and no smoke. . turn up the boxes and put a gallon of unused fuel in the powerjokers and dumb'a'maxs windows. Also works good for tailgaters :D IMHO of course ;)

I was just about to say the same thing and you beat me to it. Lightman has an excuse as he lives in Cuyahoga county. Something about those people. :rolleyes:
