Archived 03 2500 ram no start

i am new here wish someone told me about the site a couple of years ago! well anyway... ... i was in traffic last night and the truck just shut off like in ran out of fuel. i got it started 2 times for about 30 seconds each time- i turns over fine acts like it aint gettin no fuel. i checked all fuses and relays everthing seems to be fine where do i go next? 03 2500 quad 4x4 its not an h. o.

also i took off my edge box to eliminate it as a problem. it also has 125k on it. fuel filter was change about 1500 miles ago.

Was it blowing white smoke? Do you hear your lift pump cycle on if you bump the starter? Have you open the fuel check valve to try and clear any crud that may have gotten in the system when you changed the fuel filter?

i don't know about the smoke, i do hear the pump cycle shortly when i turn the key on, no i did not check fo crud. how do you do that and i will?

scanner says lift pump low voltage. what do i do now

Lift pump is probably dead. A new Walbro would work nicely!!

i talkied to a few people that said its the lift pump. i had already ordered the one extreme diesel told me i needed http://www.xtremediesel.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=895 before i seen your post randy. we will get it on today and i will post up the results.

lift pump is what it was!!! the xtremediesel pump works fine.

So how tough was the install? I'm thinking I should replace mine before it does the same to me.
